Orchid Show, DC Arboretum

A few weeks ago I spent a really great day in DC with a pile of other dgrinners. During one of the brief rain storms that day, we ducked in to the arboretum, and to my delight, the orchid show!

Hi Ann.....That is really a nice set of pictures....... I never have much luck shooting flowers and I never know what they are......Good job azzaro

Orchids are like little sculptured flowers, they come in so many shapes,
sizes, and colours, and most people like them.

Nice shots for sure. I really like the warm colors and Bokeh in your comp 4.

I really like to shoot flowers, but they rarely get good comments!!!
Gardening is what I do to relax. Just being around flowers brightens my day!

I used the 24 - 105 L on the 1DmkIIN for those shots. And Bridge/CS3 to edit.
