It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.
Yes, these were taken in my yard, but the animal didn't find himself there of his own accord. It is actually the pet of a friend of mine who brought him over for a little outing.

There are certainly some strange critters in this world. Nice capture of this one.
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
Good to see your comment. It's been a while since I posted anything. I'm shooting practically every day, but nothing that I would care to post. I'm photographing LOTS of real estate properties for the agents who are trying to market them. It's steady work, but not always creatively interesting. It was good to find the time to shoot something fun!
Wow who's a pretty Lizard
He looks a bit Grumpy and not happy at all.
Those are quite amazing colours you've tweaked for this shot.
Like how on earth do these Lizards hide painted up like that??
You couldn't help but look twice at those colours.
Good Shot ..... Skippy

Thanks for the comment, Skippy. He does look grumpy, but I think it's an illusion. He has a permanent frown built in, with no smile muscles. I think he's smiling on the inside, y'know, where it really counts...

It might well have been me who was DWE (Drinking While Editing)... I admit, I did have a little fun in post and "painted" him a bit in Lightroom.
This one is closer to his actual coloring at the time...
Excellent editing!

Thanks, Z. I had a lot of fun playing with that image.
Thanks, DaddyO!

Thanks, Black Mamba! I was told that this critter is called a "Panther Chameleon," and that they come from Madagacar.
