Can someone please tell me if they are having periodic issues with pages not loading? It has been happening with my site WAY TOO OFTEN as of late. It is happening on multiple browsers and platforms.

Please advise. It is disgusting me to have to tell clients that I don't know what the problem is...

thanks,
matt

I see two javascript errors in your page. You should probably fix those and then see if you are still having problems.

Hi Matt, your pages come up instantly for me - I'm in NY on Cablevision ISP.

    How about some diagnostics:

    http://smugmug.speedtest.net
We are the San Jose pyramid. Please let us know what the results are.

A traceroute from you to us will help:

    Thanks!

PS: I notice you made the "SmugMug" in your footer about 2px in height, please remove that formatting so that it is the normal size, thank you thumb.gif

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?!?!?! Now my header is not showing up!??! Andy, can you see it? Also, I change the footer size to 100% and it's huge...then I change it to 60% like the rest of my text and you can't even read "smugmug"....thoughts?

I've been noticing problems today as well - sometimes only have the thumbnails on the page load or when I update a captoin it just takes forever to save the changes - I should mention it's specific to smugmug - other webpages are loading fine - but smugmug seems to stall out at times for some reason.

    Hey Matt,

Your bandwidth and speedtest look just fine. There is some real oddness with your trace though. Seems to start off great, but then you start dropping packets and your ping spikes at hop #7 and 8. Pretty funky, and could mean line trouble outside, or hardware issues. Can you run a line quality test for us to take a peek at?

    http://www.dslreports.com/linequality
Sign up and run the test. Registration there is free. After you run the test, copy the link to the results for us.

This might reveal your IP, so if you're more comfortable, drop us a line at the the help desk with the results instead. We'll get you on the right path.
