Small Town Salsa Festival

The city I live in held the 3rd annual Salsa Festival with more than 8000 people coming out to try over 100 different Salsa's

I was contracted to shoot the event :barb Here are a few shots from the day

13. I decided I needed to go up as well- the pilot said, "Nice camera" "Don't stick it out the side too far or it will get sucked out!" :huh

    Sweet series, lovely fotos. I think you caught the event quite nicely. Should make friends with that helicopter pilot, be nice to have a contact for aerial photos, haha. Thanks for sharing!

    Thanks- It was a long hot day but it was fun an d hopefully a good networking situation.

    There were several pilots- all building their hours. Not a bad idea to hook up with them though.

    I felt like I was on a stalled boat in a storm looking at these pictures. :puke But I guess its not a professional shot unless the camera is tilted! :D

    I caught myself on that when I was viewing them. Got stuck in a little rut of shooting tilted.:bash It works well in some but not in others but- I'll still take clear sharp tilted shots over washed out level ones deal.gif

    Lesson learned- make sure you shoot all angles!! :D

    I wish I owned that car! It is on my top 10 list of cars.

    The photo was taken at an auto auction- I like the cap and the water droplets.
