Grandma and Granddaughter

I would love to get some shooting and pp advice regarding how to make these better. CC are very welcome!

I converted all of them into bw because the skin tones of the two subjects were so drastically different.
Canon 5d mii, Canon 50mm f/1.8, 35mm 1.4L, 70-200mm IS L

    #3 and #4 look great- nice composition and PP. I think you can make #1 and the others 'pop' more using levels/ curves...

    I'm a Photoshop Elements user. The curves adjustment seems to be more limited. Anyone out there using Elements that can help me get more pop out of these photos? I'd love to see someone else's pp on these photos if they have the time.
