Here's the first public announcement of some Linux command line tools for uploading files and doing other things with your smugmug albums.
There are currently two programs, smugup and smugls, with others being considered.
smugup uploads files, any number of them to any album, showing progress of what is going on and what is left to do.
smugls lists the files in an album.
This has been tested on SuSE and Gentoo releases and can be found at:
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/gregkh/smugbatch/
If anyone has questions or problems, please let me know.
The code is released under the GPLv2, and there is a public git repo that can be browsed at:
