My son was recognized last week by his university with a "Distinguished Graduate" award. He will graduate in a few weeks. He marked the accomplishment by treating himself to a new pistol. A .38 I think....exactly like his girlfriends, but hammerless and with a laser sight.
I also treated myself after fulfilling all of my senior orders with the purchase of a Canon STE2 transmitter. I am hoping that the "radio poppers" will review well and that this transmitter will be the foundation of this wireless flash system.
Anyway here is my son, the pistol, and the first use of the STE2.
If anyone has tips on the STE2 I would be grateful.
Also .....I was leery of clicking one off with the laser sight lit up and pointed down the lens. Does anyone know if this would be harmful to the sensor?
If you're scared....say your scared!!!

Uhhh.....
He checked once....I checked twice....before composing!
He is an avid hunter.....but we employ very strict rules about the firearms in our home.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
Cool use of the STE2! Congrats!

Well he was more nervous about me getting in front of that thing than I was. If you look close, he finger is clearly "off" the trigger.
I am excited to have a new gizmo to experiment with!!!

One very slight comment. It would be nice if there was just a touch more DOF. Just enough to get the tip of the barrel in focus as well as the chambers
