    Thanks.
I think you have done a fantastic job of this, ulrikft clap.gifclapclap.gif

It's sophisticated, emphasised by the subtle coloring. All the details are crisp and lifelike, in the facial features, the neck and the chemise. The distribution of light and shade across the face is perfect, as is the soft contrast. The skin texture is beautiful.

I would only wish for a more lush but still sombre background, I don't so much like the division of dark upper and bright lower which cuts rather brutally across the image. The hand is a little lifeless and might better have been brought forward to participate in the light catching the face.

Thank you for your comment! :)

I have to agree with the background, I can try to clone/fix/tone it down a bit. I was just one of those moments. The light was amazing and I just had to get my gf to pose! I'll try to do something about the background.

Other than the background, it could still be nicer if you had retained at least some shadow detail. In particular there is a lack of hair detail.

The 85 F1.8 is a very, very nice lens for it's price range!!

Very nice lighting and an awesome example of a short lighting pattern. I think I may have to invest in an 85 f/1.8 next!

This is a memorable portrait, I just can't take my eyes away! Well done. I love the complimentary color scheme of her purple top and green eyes. The skin texture has been mentioned, agreed it is beautiful.

And I think I'll be "dusting off" my 85 1.8 and rediscover an old friend! thanks! clap.gif

This is lovely. A small reflector on the left could have made it superb! I would add a touch of vignette to really finish this off.

Thanks again for your kind comments! And thanks for your tip Mithcell! I'll try the reflector tip the next time, and try to vignett it a bit :)
