Bulk Move Galleries into Subcategory?

I have 264 galleries under my main dining category - and the page takes forever to load as you may imagine. I just created "year" subcategories (2008, 2007, 2006, etc) but can't find away to do a bulk move of galleries into the new appropriate subcategory. It would take way to long to move one gallery at a time.

I'm probably an exception to the norm having over 70,000 photos on my smugsite, but don't I still deserve a handy method for organizing my massive collection? I'm not complaining, I think SM is first rate in service and constant innovation. It's just that my site has grown to such massive proportions that it's really started to slow down, which isn't good for my clients.

    I don't remember off the top of my head exactly, but you might want to check out one of the 3rd party tools such as SmugBrowser (the firefox plugin) or Star*Explorer, as I think they may let you drag & drop galleries to new categories/subcategories. Worth checking out. There are probably others as well.
