Excellent capture with #2, you can really see the texture of the bug. Looks like it's missing its rear-end, or is it supposed to be that way?
#1 is an interesting shot. Maybe lining up a few drinks for a party ?
Like the idea of the 'peak-a-boo' image (#3), but I think you would need to use a higher magnification, with more sharpness on the bug, for it to impact more. Nice though.

Rod.
The rear end is there. Just blends into the back end of the wings because it is lisfted you can see the thin connector angling up to it when you look close.
#1's eggs aare real nteresting such clear looking little round cups.
I agree on the last, more magnification and all!
Great shooting in the first two!

Thanks everyone!
Last night I was a little rushed and frustrated with my lack of skill with flash.
I agree with every body about the third image…. Its face peaking over the flower is what grabbed me. MM

Not stacked... have not had great results with stacking. I would like to take the time and try it.
D200 with 50mm 1.4 plus tubes (I think it was the biggest tube) @ f13 with flash defused -3 EV and the correct angle. MM

Love the first two shots, that first shot quite unique with the eggs all laid out neatly in rows.
