Google maps gadget not working anymore?

My Google maps gadget is not displaying the map images anymore. Sometimes it does but most of the times it isn't displayed correctly.
Instead, the following message is shown "We're sorry, but we don't have imagery at this zoom level for this region. Try zooming out for a broader look".

Zooming out however does not solve the problem. I set the region to "the world" and am using the standard zoom level. Any thoughts?

    And off course, right after you post the question to the support forum it seems to work again. But apart from that, has anyone experienced similar problems with the Google Maps gadget?
