Here are some pictures I took at Knights Ferry this Easter. I am using aperture and am learning how to use it to get more from my picts. I think I have made progress. But??? more I know to come.
Some are landscapes and some are flower pictures. Do the flower pictures belong here? or ? :dunno
comments and critiques welcome
This is picture of the knights ferry bridge across some poppy fields and bush lupin.
a picture of some poppies
an oak tree looking toward the bridge
a close up of some poppies
and some more poppies
Note that these are not CALIFORNIA POPPIES but rather Eschscholzia caespitosa a smaller species and not as orange.

But it looks like midday sun and could use a bit more contrast and pop.
