Knights Ferry Wild Flowers

Here are some pictures I took at Knights Ferry this Easter. I am using aperture and am learning how to use it to get more from my picts. I think I have made progress. But??? more I know to come.

Some are landscapes and some are flower pictures. Do the flower pictures belong here? or ? :dunno

Note that these are not CALIFORNIA POPPIES but rather Eschscholzia caespitosa a smaller species and not as orange.

I really like the Oak Tree!

But it looks like midday sun and could use a bit more contrast and pop.

I like the first and second shots. I think the first would be even better with some curves adjustment to get the colors to pop.
