Wonderful photos! iloveyou.gif I would maybe just take away baby's "back" in #4 ... looks kind of like a random line ... but love them all!

Great shots. The first two look fabulous.

One comment though is once the mother is introduced the high contrast treatment is not working as well for me.

There is no detail at all in her jumper which makes it look a little like the baby and her head are floating in mid air. And I think the skin tones are too blown out and white.

As I say this seams to work with baby on its own but with mother (for some reason I can't quite explain) I don't like it. Maybe because it makes it feel harsh and clinical when the image is about love and tenderness

Just has a second look and another idea. The first two are more like a still life shot, so contrast and sharpness are good. With mother they become portraits and the sharpness feels uncomforatble

    Anyway I am rambling now...

I have to disagree. I love how smooth your high key is :)

Love the use of the bowl. I hope it was the clients so she can remember how small her little one used to be. Beautiful series!

The bowl is one of our props that we bring to sessions. We try and use props from the clients house but sometimes they just don't have any that work.. Thanks for the compliments!
