Samantha had some fun with her Play-doh set the other day. I took the opportunity to give my 85mm, f1.4 another try.

    Play-doh is so much fun....even for adults to :D

    Looks like the kids had fun. Loved the color in the photos.

    Great shots. #2 is my favorite. I would have liked to see one of the shots with the little girl's whole body in focus, so maybe up the f-stop a little for a couple shots next time.

    Don't get me started on this lens. Just when I'm ready to give up on it, I take grab shots like these at F1.8. I've gotten too many soft photos from this lens (operator error) in the past and generally shoot at f2 and above.

    It's also a bit too long for me for indoor portraits on a cropped sensor. I'm hoping Santa brings me a D3 this year.mwink.gif
