I've moved your beautiful shot over here to Landscapes.
I had the privilege last year to join 3 other Dgrinners on a road trip,
through Lake Louise and Jasper on our way to Glacier National Park.

The scenery is just amazing, looks so pretty covered in Snow.
    Lovely Shot Raebrown clap.gif .... Skippy :D

    Hi Chris

This is in Banff National Park in Alberta Canada. Specifically, near Crow Foot glacier about 200 km south of Jasper, Alberta on the highway which connects Jasper and Lake Louise.

Thanks Skippy. Living in Edmonton its an area I should be frequenting more often than I do. The scenery is pretty when covered with snow, the roads...not so much.

We had the opportunity to visit your neck of the woods in Oct/Nov 2006 and absolutly loved it. Spent almost a month in Western Australia visiting Perth and then renting a car a driving to places like Margaret River, Albany, Esperance and Kalgoorlie. Best holiday we ever had. Loved the scenery and the very friendly people.

Thanks DaddyO. I'm still pretty new at the post processing and find snowy scenes particularly challenging.

I don't see any problems with this! Great photo. You can really feel the power of nature in winter here. thumb.gif

Thanks Schmoo. I'm just glad that it wasn't quite as windy down on the valley floor.
