On another forum that I go to, they run mini challenges.
A mini challenge is run, and judged by one person.
You enter your shots (up to 3) into the mini challenge thread. At the end of 2 weeks, the judge declares a winner, then that winner choses a new theme and runs that challenge.
No panels, no prizes, no time limit as to when the photo was taken, or how much PS was done to it. (unless otherwise noted)
This is run by the public at large, no help from the mods is needed.
Nikolai already does something like this is the Technique Forum.
I just think it should be done here.
