One of them little common house moths

Sat on a pear (we only bought the pears this aft at Asda) and was very co-operative. Hardly ever moved. Afterwards I released it into the night (but it was raining so I hope it survives).
No freezing or anything to slow it down required on this. I just had it inside a tub and put the pear in with it. When it landed on the pear, I carefully took it out of the tub and set it down in front of the tripod where it happily remained posing.
Sigma 105 with 1 and then 3 extension tubes fitted.

When you get that close, it's like the moth has thousands of tiny feathers attached to it's body.
Nice work Paul ... Skippy

Now here's the part that'll make you sad.....moth's have no mouths and live an average of 5 days.
Very nice shot Paul....
