Cost to register with Go Daddy

I was looking at personalizing my web address without the smug mug name in it and followed the link that explains how to do that. Is there a cost in registering a domain name with go daddy?

    Yes. It is usually about $10 on up. Check here

    I actually just registered for a year which cost $7.15 but now I am having trouble finding custom hostname box to paste the new address. I am looking in the control panel and am not finding it. I feel so dense.
