Help! My stupid SB-600 is going bezerk!

I have lost all control of the flash, on or off the body of my D50. It lights up green. Will not turn off, does not display any numbers, wont work, does not repond so any amount of button pushing. Has this happened to anyone else? I bough it new from B&H, do you think i have a nikon warrenty? Sure would suck if this happeneed at a gig!scratch

I had a similar thing happen just last week-end to my 580 EX II. Would respond to only the power on/off switch. Turns out I had accidentally configured it for wireless TTL and it was waiting for a signal from another flash. Really had me going for about 30 minutes. Doubt this is the case with you, but ...

well guys, turns out it was just acting strange because my batteries were just about dead.
