Australians with 20D's .. Re: Cleaning
Hi there folks............ I need to clean the sensor on my Canon 20D.
I'm really quite happy to have a go, only where do I get all the things I need to follow the Copperhill method??
Can anyone tell me where I might purchase everything here in Australia??
Or do I need to import it all from America? :dunno
Your help will be graciously received........ thank you for you time. :thumb
**Reposted......no Ozzies clean their sensors??? :scratch awwwww come on surely someone in the Melbourne area has had to clean their sensor??

Do a search on "sensor cleaning" and you'll come up with this list.
Myself, I'm using the brush method and have had good luck. Others have
needed to use something like the copperhill method to get the stuff off the
sensor first.
Good luck!

I ordered the Sensor Cleaning Brush, I may well need to clean it using the Copperhill Method too, but I think that brush would come in so handy for a quick clean when needed, my 20D was already dirty when I brought it, its fine as long as I dont want to use F22 or those higher numbers.
Still would like to find someone here in Australia in the Melbourne Area that is using the Copperhill method.......thanks for moving my post

Awwwww come on surely someone who lives in the Melbourne Area has cleaned their sensor on their DLSR ???
You know I heard from a friend of mine that some folks in the Melbourne are are too scared to clean their sensor and send the camera to Canon to be cleaned for some shocking price, plus they're without a camera for several weeks during the process......
I intend to clean mine myself *cough*cough* I will, I'm gonna do it
My SensorBrush should be here next week, and fingers crossed that all that crap I see will just come off and not require another method to get the initial clean done.
