Hi Everyone,

Here is what you get when you are sitting at the lake and a Grackle lands on the branch right next to you and stays there just long enough to get his picture taken with your 500mm almost hitting him in his head (well not quite, but just barely within minimum focus distance)..

I got a shot of his cousin just a couple of days ago! Except I was using a 400mm.

Hi Stephen.. they sure are everywhere and they make a lot of noise when I'm out at the lake dozing off while waiting for the raptors..

Hi Ric.. it looks like these two went to the same modeling school..
I was so close I never thought I would get focus but it popped right into focus just at the last second..
