I have been having a terrible time getting Slide Show Pro to work with my smugmug. I've done this in the past and have even resulted to trying another method. He's the post with the opml method that should work but his examples no longer work and produce the same error as mine. Any help would greatly be appricaiated...

The 'swf' file is within the smugsspjrtest directory on the server.
The 'fla' file has the following parameters set:
XML FILE PATH : http://www.webdesignsbyjr.com/smugsspjrtest/opml.xml
XML FILE TYPE: OPML
(The opml.xml is located within the smugsspjrtest directory on the server)

The OPML.xml has the following code:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<opml version="1.1">
<head>
<title>My list of SMUGMUG feeds</title>
</head>
<body>
<outline type="rss" xmlUrl="http://api.smugmug.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=gallery&Data=1060889&format=rss200&Si ze=Small" />
</body>
</opml>

The gallery: 1060889 is 'public' and has the 'easy share' option on

It uses this feed:

http://api.smugmug.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=gallery&Data=1060889&format=rss200&Si ze=Small

For course, the 'fla' file slideshowhthumb172.fla - you can set the parameters, etc, etc...

So basically, I edit the fla file, create the swf file and upload the 'swf' and 'xml' file to the SAME directory.

Works like a charm

Questions - please ask :) jerryr

    after reinstalling 4 times ssp pointed this error to me can anyone help resolve this issue here is a quoted response from their staff

    From the main domain it works it displays the site and loads the slideshow interface. However the issue here seems to be with smugmug, when trying to view the images directly it takes at least two tries for the image to load. Once the image is loaded I can go back to the slideshow and it will be displayed correctly, I'm thinking it displays as it is already in the local browser cache.

    Unfortunately this is not a SlideShowPro issue but a smugmug one, and there is nothing we can do about it here. You may need to contact them directly.
