standing there watching a hole that I knew nuthatches were using............
:huh & this came out of it.....I guess the nuthatches had to move out.??:dunno

    Great shot Dave. I think it's an even trade-off, a nuthatch for a flicker.

    i had a flicker make a nice nest in a dead tree in my yard and the darn Grackles chased him away... i hate the grackles!!!
