A few smaller birds
Hi Y'all,
Last month I tried to shoot some of the wetlands smaller denizens.
a female grackle
a RWBB
a least bittern
a black-necked stilt
and joy joy we discovered a pair of nesting red-bellied woodpeckers

The red belly's are choice.
That RWBB wing spread and pose is outstanding...but I think the black needs to be blacker. I tried an exposure adjustment on it and it really looked good to me...of course when I did that the sat on the red had to be decreased.

Great captures Harry.. we don't have any denizens around here and I couldn't find them in my bird book.. lucky find huh..
The Woodpeckers are super as is the Stilt.. he looks surprised about something.
