Eastern Sierra: Spring Storm

I went on a business trip last weekend. I decided to drive to Lake Tahoe from Los Angeles. Left Fri. 7 AM - returned 7 PM Sunday. Just over a thousand miles. I have really gone mental, but I knew that the Mojave was supposed to be in bloom. It was amazing. This is a shot from the drive home coming down toward Bishop, CA.

regards,

Gary

Thanks for the reminder of one of the beautiful places in our state thumb.gif Loved every mile. Only difference was I was on the bike and it was June :D

Did you stop in Mammoth for coffee and a pastry? This is the place to
    go:

Thanks Ian, I'll try it the next time. Have you been to Tom's Place? My kids always want to stop there if we are returning from the Sierra. BTW- there was light snow from June Lake through Mammoth (not sticking) and there were some hardy souls cruising down the 395 on their bikes.

    regards,

    Gary
