Who named it Goats Head Soup? (Rock Climbing in Alaska)
I went climbing a few days ago with Allison and her friend Ben along the Seward Highway at an area called Goats Head Soup. It is one of my favorite places along the highway because of its quality routes and sun most of the afternoon until the sun goes down!
So heres a few pictures from that climb. Allison starts off on this 5.10b climb.
This climb is slightly overhanging so it gave me a good chance to get some pictures.
Allisons a tuff girl! She climbs hard and makes it look easy.
Going for the big reach
Whew...and a Rest...How can you not like climbing around a girl who has "Violently Happy" tattooed to the back of her arm?
Then it was Bens turn. I think we all climb at about the same level.
Ben doing an "I'm so good I don't even have to look at the clip" move.
and that was it for photos on that climb. Its always fun to get out and get some photo's on a beautiful day of climbing.

I like the 4th one with the arm reaching up. It has a good depth of field.
