A Bird Couple, and a Flying Squirrel

Shots of spring in my yard this morning, the animals were out and about.

These birds have a nest in the tree they're standing in now. It's about 18 feet from my front door, and they're quite friendly.

And this little guy was a complete kneejerk pano attempt. To be fair, he's not flying. But he WAS running vey fast! :wink Came out better then I thought it did when I shot it... ("oh look! a running squirrel! *snap*")

Two good captures. I'm not a big fan of squirrel shots but yours was a excellent capture of a difficult shot. clap.gif

Harry, Steve, thanks. Means alot. I'm not a huge squirrel fan either, they remind me of large rats with tails, but interesting subject matter is interesting subject matter.

And Steve, thanks for the bird indentities, I have got to get a field guide. rolleyes1.gif
