How to download original photo file?

OK...here is my next stoopid question...

I uploaded a bunch of photos from my D70...and then accidentally deleted some of them.

Is there any way I can download the original file that I uploaded? Or did uploading it to smugmug alter or compress it in any way?

Thanks!

- Mark

    1. check out "smugmug exporter"
    2. order backup
    3. wait a week or two, and then Star*Explorer will be able to help you

Actually, it's still called Smugmug Exporter.

However, I'm not sure it's necessary in this case, since all Markus wants is the original file. Smugmug Exporter would be useful if he had added captions or other metadata, or needed the original filenames (when Smugmug sends backups, how are the files named?).

Unless I'm missing something here, which is quite possible.

I didn't see your posts lately and thought you're still undecided about it..
Glad you are to keep itthumb.gif

Technically, one can simply go to the original file and do the "save as" thingie..
It's just a hassle if you have to do more than a few..

    Can be missing something, too:-)

I decided that since I got a new name and new icon for S*E and joined NAPP, I can have a little PS fun with my avatar, too:-)

Alternatively, you can use the "Save photo" link on your galleries. Make sure Originals are allowed and Protection is off and you'll see the link.
