A wedding of college sweet hearts
These two met in college (and I knew both of them). I brought along my 40D to give it a test spin and had me some fun snapping them.
1. The bride pulls up in a cadillac
2. The groom watches as his bride walks up the aisle.
3. The bride placing the ring on the groom.
4. First kiss
5. Cutting the cake
6. Cutting the cake up close
7. About to kiss
8. Some friends having fun posing for a shot
Those are just a few of my favorites... the whole shebang is here: http://photos.cathoffman.com/Weddings/513743
Thanks for looking, feedback welcomed as always.
EDIT: I edited to change the description of #1 to the proper car type

Yeah I think you're right there, that brings to memory them talking about the "caddy" yesterday... I know they said at one point or another what year it was, but I can't remember. I work with the guy who owns the car, so I can ask him later
Oh and side note (in case anyone is wondering) they only had cake and punch after the wedding, hence no dancing crazy reception or other traditional shots (like no bouquet or garter toss). While they live in Indiana... their parents are in PA and NY... so they are having two receptions at those respective states later.

Beautiful shots!
50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8, 24-70 2.8L, 35mm 1.4L, 135mm f2L
ST-E2 Transmitter + (3) 580 EXII + radio poppers
Anyway...these images are beautiful.
Yeah you can really tell these two are made for each other... they've actually been living together for at least two years pre-marriage if memory serves correctly... so it's great to see that even after living together for that period of time the spark is still there as they enter into their marriage finally

Did you have a add in the local paper or did word of mouth get you three weddings in one month?

Thanks!
I went to college with the bride and groom shown here. They didn't pay me a penny. I just clicked away for the fun of it at their wedding.
My other two gigs this month are through a place that contracts me out. I do weddings through them as well as weddings I book through advertising on craigslist.
I have no weddings in June at all though oddly enough. Go figure.
