fill border with slideshow

How am I able to fill the border with the slideshow as is your site? My pics are only occupying 3/4 the border.

Also, how do I get my galleries page to be stretchy like you moonriver site?

Stretchy is set in your customizing - control panel>customize page, be sure to check 'stretchy-yes' and update.

It's better if you don't have any box/border/background in your bio box so I removed it.
