Bleak Beauty

This was shot in Upper Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales. I was drawn to the round pattern of the stone fence and the moody bleakness of the landscape.

    I like this one a lot. All those stone fences throughout that area amaze me.....didn't know there were that many rocks in the world.
    I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    THat's how they cleared teh fields!

    Same in New England. And still too many rocks!

    I really like this image. Would love to see more such! and maybe soem closer ones of the buildings.
