Which to use in Yosemite - Tokina or Nikon 14-24mm

I have never used either, but want to do some wide angle shots in Yosemite Park. I would save $40 by using the Tokina, but I want sharpness above all else. FWIW, I will be using a D300.

Has anyone here used both? What do you think

I have used neither, but if the deal-breaker is only $40... go with Nikon! ne_nau.gif
