Suggest a charity for camera donations?

I'm hoping a Grinner can point me in the right direction.
I have some unused camera gear that I'd like to see used.
digital P&S, film SLR and lenses, film P&S etc..

What I'd like to do is donate it to a charity that can put it to good use, preferably in the US, but I'd consider international too.

Anyone got any ideas?

    An update on this.
    I found a route that I'm happy with.
    I contacted the photography instructor at my old high school. According to him they still teach the basics with film and the darkroom.
    Some kids bring their own gear, others can't afford it so that's where I've decided to send my old film cameras and lenses.

    I was fortunate enough to have some wonderful teachers in my life, and Mr. K the photo teacher at that time was one of them. Feels good to give back.
