Was watching a bluebottle/green(?)bottle on the Lily of the valley and the alyssum and managed a few shots of it.
Here it is sampling the finest nectar on the alyssum (do flies eat nectar? I guess they do cos it would be sweet)...
Then it flew onto the Lily of the Valley and posed there in the afternoon sun:

And the close up with the extension tubes added (31mm and 21mm)
