Another kite and some rodents
It was cloudy, had just rained, little light and no flash, but I did not want to pass on this opportunity to photograph this kite perched low on a branch.
And here are two visitors to the feeders that I photographed when things were slow at the blinds down at Los Madrones Ranch in the Texas Hill Country.

Thanks Ric. They didn't turn out too bad. I am hoping to get them in some good light soon. So far this season, every time I have an opportunity to photograph one, the light has been funky.

Hi Stephen.. I agree on the Kites. They seem rather abundant down your way. Looking forward to more shots. Hope you get some better light.

Thanks Chris. One of the benefits of living here. There are certainly quite a few around here, up to 12 so far.

You are absolutely correct, but I also had such little light that it made the photos very difficult. I just need to remember that dern flash!
