I am a member of both, and have worked both to some degree, but still don't "get it." I am linked in and face booked. Now what.

now we've just got to get you on Twitter mwink.gif

    just kidding.

    or am I?

anyway, the next step is to find other ("real" and/or "online") friends to link to. otherwise you're right, there's not really much there to get.

now nothing, that's it. I had trouble grasping the concept at first also, but it's just a way to keep you connected with people that you know... almost too simple.

Writing is on the walls for Facebook.
Hits on the website have decreased dramatically over the past 18 months and continue to decline.

Facebook jsut refuses to stay current w/ the times and pursue development while others like Twitter continue to look to the future instead of reveling in the present.

Well-- I use my myspace as a sort of advertisement for my photography services as well as SEO. Everything on my myspace points back to my website. A surprising amount of people find me there instead of at my website.

Anyway, I have actually booked paid shoots from people who find me on myspace. So from my perspective, it's a free marketing tool. Your mileage may vary since many of the clients I book are in the popular age range for myspace.

I'm on Facebook. I resisted but the people at work convinced me to set up an account...of course now I'm retired. Would also like to connect with DGrinner's there...feel free to add: Rae Brown, Edmonton Network.

Tried the Facebook link on Moogle Pepper's message but it took me to my newsfeed page...not sure how.

    Cheers!

I searched for Rae Brown but none of the Rae Brown's I found showed me what network they belonged to... so I don't know which one to add.

EDIT: nevermind, it just displayed all the no network people before the network people.... found you :)
