This is a view from "Bucks Canyon Overlook" in Canyonlands N.P., Utah. From March 2001, with an ancient Sony S70...

    Beautiful picture Scott!

I have fond memories of the S70, except the darn thing was always focusing where I didn't want it to! Laughing.gif!

It was a major step up from my Mavica F91 in resolution, although I sure missed the zoom of the F91.

It got passed on to my daughter who used it for a couple of years, then dropped it in London on vacation, we were all saddened by it's demise.

    Thanks Dee & Fred!

Dee - Yep, the S70 was a nice little camera. For many, it was the first "real" digital camera they owned.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    I believe you're correct, Pathfinder! thumb.gif

That's an interesting comparison of different focal lengths, lighting, "vision", etc.
