Seeking Suggestions for a Good Stock Agency

I'm looking for a good outfit to which I can submit 100-150 images - mostly American West nature stuff: landscapes, macros, plants/flowers, and an occasional critter (2 or 4-legged).

Hoping to find a reasonable deal, percentage wise, and reasonable selling price (not microstock) - a place that has quality work, and a good volume of buyers without being a mega-corp.

Photo Researchers is looking interesting, and I'm waiting to get some contract info from them.

Any suggestions from your own experience would be appreciated. Warnings about companies to avoid would also be helpful.

Thank You!
Dane

I have just started listing some of my photos on Stock Image Database. The link is: http://stockimageagency.com/photostore/index.php

All photos are "rights managed" and priced according to intended usage. They are a fairly new company (about 2 years) and fairly small, but they have made numerous sales and welcome new photographers. I know the owners and will vouch for their ethics and integrity.

Dane, I've been using this place http://www.photographersdirect.com/

They're free to post up to a certain amount of space. About 200 images will fit the space. If your photos are good they will give you extra space for free. They work on a commission system. They do not support nor allow people to post images that have also been posted to microstock sites. Returns seem to be good but so far I haven't had much interest in my work. But it's free to post, so nothing to lose.

Thanks, Scott! Sounds like there is no contract at that place, which is OK with me. I'll look into it.
