Not quite "wild" life, but...
they're animals just the same. These are from the San Diego Zoo, so I appologize if they're in the wrong forum...
I finally got a chance on Monday to play with the new 70-300mm lens I picked up on Friday and I'm pretty happy with the way some of these turned out... The colors/saturation may be off in these as I processed them on my laptop without the benefit of an accurate monitor...
1) A Sun Bear enjoys his dinner...
2) An interesting looking little bird I found in one of the Aviaries
3) I don't remember what kind of bird this was, but he sure does not look happy!!
4) I believe this was a Staller's Sea Eagle... the Bald Eagles brother...
5) Snack time for the zoo's baby panda
6) Still Going
7) The fellow was playing peek-a-boo with that canvas bag
8) The Meerkat Sentinel poses for a portrait
Those were the best on an unusually overcast San Diego day... any and all comments and suggestions are welcome! Thanks for taking a look!! :thumb

Thanks for the compliments everyone!!
It sure was a fun day to take off from work!!
Dave, I didn't see the orangutan as old Ben Kenobi until you mentioned it, and now I can't not see it! Great imagination on your part!! I like the photo even more now!!!
