I'm trying to sell a couple of items for my pro buddy next door.
He swithced from Nikon/Fuji to Canon about a year ago and hasn't had time to sell off some of his Nikon stuff.

Nikon 16mm f2.8 fisheye.
Like new, very clean in box with all caps included.
$550 or best offer.

Fuji S3 Pro.
This has a high dynamic range of film and the S5 has the same sensor IIRC.
Would make a nice back up body for landscapers who want better dynamic range from their camera for better results with less photoshopping.

He told me that the rubber panel on the grip loosened up a bit so he reglued it and there may be some residue. A cosmetic thing, doesn't affect how it functions. This was his back up to the S5 and he says it's has about 10,000 shutter actuations. He thinks he can find the box for it as well.

Pricegrabber has refurb units for about $820. He is willing to sell it for $650.
He prefers local buyers in Los Angeles/Pasadena area so he doesn't have to deal with shipping and all that. You can come by the office and look at the gear, test it out and buy it if interested.

    Talked to my buddy.,
I think he's willing to go lower on the Fujifilm S3. He's tired of it sitting in his office. He is willing to let it go for $500.
    Here is a dpreview test.
    http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/fujifilms3pro/

It has about 10 stops of range, which is still more than the top of the line bodies like the Nikon D3 and Canon's dynamic range champ the 40D by almost one stop.

Let me know if anyone is interested. It would make a nice back up for landscape and even portrait use including weddings, which is what he often used it for.

$400 is local price, I'll have to ask him if he is interested in dealing with shipping and arranging payment via PayPal/mail.

I'm sure he'll ask for more for the trouble though. But let me ask him first.

    ELSELS,
Since you were first to make an offer, you are first in line.
I haven't heard from my friend tonight, but PM me your e-mail contact and I will forward it to him.

That way, if he wants to sell/ship, you two can communicate directly.
