Very well done. That's a beauty.

BH's are harder to capture than one might think - they blow so nicely in the slightest breeze, and it you're not shooting perpendicular to the stem, achieving enough DOF is difficult.

I've been trying to get a decent shot of them for the second season now, and would appreciate some info:

    1. how far behind the blossoms was the BG?

    2. what is the EXIF? (lens FL and f/stop).

    Hi Glen.
i shot these with the bg 10' behind and with a f9 aperture 1/80 ss.
Try to minimize your angle when shooting. The size of the flowers will control the look in regards to the angle.

The flowers are very pretty, I like the way the flowers hang on the plant too........ they really are a lovely shape.

Interesting how they seem to hang in order of opening too.

    Lovely shot David thumb.gif .... Skippy :D
