Night Train.

My first time shooting motion at night with a tripod.

I shot this in Pomona. I have a friend who is a huge rail fan (he even works for one of the major model railroader magazines and Walthers) and he's in town until Saturday. He knows the best places to shoot trains.

ISO 200, 2 seconds at F/3.5.

    Nice, Lee.

    I'm thinking if you could get a little more contrast on the gravel rail burm it mught set of the train blur better by blending less with it. Seems a bit washed out across the gravel.

    Pretty nice for your first try. thumb.gif Has a neat vanishing point too.
    I've yet to really try this kind of shot. On my ta do list. :D

    Your certainly captured the fast movement of the train.
    I'm with the other posters, it's a little washed out, needs to be darker.
