Like this. The IR with the wierd looking vegetation and the dark skies, with the ferris wheel as the subject works really well.

This is a really nice composition and a really cool picture of the scene.
I am trying to come to grips with IR and for the life of me I am having
a hard time with it. Its like it works on some and not on others. Sort of
like using a fisheye lens. If you know what I mean. :D Michael

    Craig....

I'm with Michael on this IR stuff. You've done some really interesting things with this approach ( about as good as I see anywhere ) though I don't think this one ranks at the top of your work. In general, when the IR tactic works well, it really works well. Many times, however, I feel the effect leaves something to be desired. I realize there is a bit of " different strokes for different folks " at play here. I always look forward to seeing what you come up with.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Howdy Michael,

Thanks very much for your very kind reply.

:D IR images dont' appeal to everyone and yes I know what you mean, and your right about it working on some and not on others, my 3 external hard drives are testament to that.

    I appreciate your thoughts!!

    Howdy Tom,

Thanks for your thoughtful reply as well, I know as I wrote to Michael that IR doesn't do it sometimes for some folks, but that's what keeps us going and makes us all different.

    Take care, Kindest Regards,

    Howdy Skippy,

Thanks very much, it was a beautiful day, and the lagoon and ferris wheel with the clouds really made it nice.

Here's a colorized version of it, although a little different angle.
