Framechannel Issues

I am trying to set up a FrameChannel with this URL:

catholicplumey.smugmug.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=nicknameRecentPhotos&Data=catholicplumey&format=atom03&Size=XLarge

which works fine in a desktop app or in the browser but chokes in FrameChannel.

Any ideas?

I used some tips from this forum and tried this:

http://api.smugmug.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=userkeyword&NickName=catholicplumey&Type=nicknameRecentPhotos&Data=catholicplumey&format=rss200&Size=XLarge

and it doesn't work, even though it's fine in the browser, but not in Framechannel.

All i want is to have a screen saver that shows pics from smuggy on my Mac, is that too much to ask? :cry

It works fine for me, when creating the channel be sure to select "Custom RSS Image Feeds".

OK, the framechannel works now, which is really weird. Did you do some voodoo?

Still, using the FrameMedia screensaver doesn't work. Do you have any tips on an RSS screen saver?

Has anyone else been having problems with their Smugmug RSS photo feeds in Framechannel? All the photos being fed to Framechannel from the Smugmug RSS feeds I have set up are now showing up blurry and pixelated. It looks like Framechannel is attempting to display thumbnail-sized versions of the photos instead of the large versions, even with the the "Size=XLarge" in the RSS feed URL's. I'm using a Digital Spectrum wireless photo frame to view the photos. Photos from Framechannel's internal photo feeds look just fine. This suddenly started happening last Friday and still happening today. I've been using Smugmug RSS feeds with Framechannel for over two months now and never had this problem until last Friday. I emailed Framechannel support and they replied back saying nothing changed on their end and must be a problem with Smugmug's feeds. Here are two of Smugmug RSS feeds I have configured in Framechannel. They look just fine viewing in IE7.

Anyone have an idea what's going on? I've had to turn off my Smugmug RSS photo feeds in Framechannel for now until this gets resolved as the photos coming through on my digital frame look horrible.

The pixelated photo issue with Framechannel has been fixed. The engineers at Framechannel made a couple changes this morning after looking into the issue. Photo feeds from Smugmug are back to looking the way they should.
