Just a couple shots from this morning. Spotted this newborn from the bedroom window in the side yard. They lay very still and won't move unless you dang near step on them while they wait for their mom to return.
Just a couple shots from this morning. Spotted this newborn from the bedroom window in the side yard. They lay very still and won't move unless you dang near step on them while they wait for their mom to return.
I saw something similar a while back on TV, I think it was in Africa where the mom cleaned the newborn up and it laid in the grass motionless (by instinct). It then showed some predators walking within a few feet of it and they never saw it or got a scent. Thanks for posting.
