    the house finches ( not Goldfinches though ) like the orange...that's how I got my oriole..I had put this out for the finches....here's another tidbit for you Ric...The Catbirds LOVE eating the orange... I'll throw those up when this moves to page 2.

    Nice pics. I really like the 2nd one, the catch light is great.

    I was grocery shopping today and picked up a few oranges to hopefully attract the orioles that i have seen flying about. Never thought that the finches would like them. We have about 20 finches running around the yard. There is one pair of reds and the rest are all yellow.
