Not sure if this hits the challenge , but it sure hit me emotionally when I happened upon this scene .
I would en-title this ..
"Towards Peace"

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated ....

Yes, your photo tells a thousands words about peace. The people left on earth must continue moving forward in spite of it all. I think it fits the thought provoking side.

The subject matter is excellent- I just feel this particular photo works.

It would be better (in my opinon) if you could see more of the casket. Just feels a little too tight and too choppy.

I think a tighter crop would work better. IMO seeing more of the casket would only distract from the story that is already there. Cropping so that the headstone, casket, and green background beyond each occupy 1/3 of the frame...somewhere between the latches. Also, although there aren't a bunch of competing colors, I wonder if it might be more dramatic still in black and white?

I love the concept - if I were participating, I'd have worked along the same lines (less technical, more interpretive). Great title, too.
