    Hi Jack, or john it is a INDIAN MOON MOTH -actias celene.
    I have just hatched out catterpillers of these will be posting photos soon.

    We had one follow us in the front door one day. I shot him with the camera of course. Very pretty photo you have.

    Wow, I have only ever seen pictures of this moth on the net and in books,
    you lucky guy you !

    Being retired I have the luxury of spending several hours in the morning 5:30 to 7 ish AM over coffee and the news then several more browsing DGRIN before beginning the daily puttering. :D
