Shooting at 7mm

Shot with a local group yesterday and the challenge was to meet at a restaurant and everyone pick a single focul length to shoot with for the day without knowing the subject. I picked to shoot with my 7-14 at 7 and prayed we weren't shooting wildlife.

We ended up at Goldfield Mine- an old mine now turned tourist attraction with gift shop, museums, restaurants, etc.

Here are a few 7mm shots- all shot handheld.

This lens is starting to show its versatility and I like it! :barb

I'd say the lens gave you some great shots on everything you put it to
work on. thumb Very cool location. I'm predisposed to liking gears
and machines, so I'm partial to #5. Michael

Really love the photo's. I do something similar on my own. Leave the house for a day of shooting with one prime lens. Can really make you be creative.

It was way to bright to shoot that thing wide so I hid in the shade and shot part of the wheel. You might find it interesting.

Sounds like a nice time and you come home to the voting scandal on our favorite site and 108 degrees.

I am heading up North possibly this weekend and next for some camping.

Nice. I like ultrawide and you've done a great job with this lot. The subject suits the lens very well.

How's it going there. I havn't been to either place in almost 2 weeks. I'm tired of the childishness. I actually got myself banned or in time out in 85... but then they reloaded me. I sort of heard about the election thing, but honestly considering the parties involved...anyway, maybe I'll check out the photo thread. Thanks for the heads up.
