This is my friend's P-51. Going up in this thing is a never-ending thrill. The rear seat is a little snug, but comfortable. The view is spectacular and the sounds are unforgetable.
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

You're one lucky chap to have a friend with one of these who will take you up in it! Wow! I could only dream!

    Beautiful images, too! thumb.gifclap.gif

    15524779-Ti.gif Lucky indeed.

Very nice shots in harsh lighting. One of these days I am going to
pony up the $$$ and take a ride in a warbird fighter. Maybe a P40. One of my
favorites. Got a couple of shots of just the one somewheres. :D Michael

What an awesome piece of engineering. Would love the chance to go up in one.
